ENG: Research shows that anti-Muslim discrimination is widespread and pervasive. Taking this as the starting point, the event asks: what do we know about the scale and forms of anti-Muslim discrimination in the Netherlands, how can it best be investigated, and, above all, what should be done next?
The event brings together researchers, policymakers and community representatives to share insights and reflect on both the current state of affairs and possible next steps. The programme consists of four short presentations on anti-Muslim discrimination, each drawing on different research methods, followed by two panel discussions. These discussions will address the current situation regarding anti-Muslim discrimination, barriers and opportunities in research and policy, and perspectives from the community itself.
